8.5” tyre: $80 tyre change labour or $150 for both
10” tyre": $90 tyre change labour or $160 for both
11” tyre: $100 tyre change labour or $180 for both

Diagnosis and Repairs
Different scooters take different amounts of time to diagnose and repair based on the issue.
Minimum labour fee is $70 plus mobile fees for call-outs.
After the issue has been diagnosed we can give you a quote for repairs, including labour and the cost of parts.
Please note, repairs can be costly and it not uncommon that repairs for cheaper or poorly designed scooters will often end up costing close to what you paid for.
We may not be as cheap as your mate who just watched a YouTube clip, but Will at Melbourne Escooter Mechanic is the best escooter technician in Australia and our rates are fair and industry standard.
We recommend researching different electric scooter brands before making a purchase, or chatting to our friendly staff about your options.
General Service
$70 per Commuter Scooter

Mobile fees charged separately
A General Service is recommended every 6 months to ensure your scooter is safe, and identify and prevent issues before they become a big problem.
A general service includes-
Tyre pressure adjustment
Brake Alignment
Pads and Rotors check
Firmware Updates (if applicable)
Tightening bolts
Safety Check
Scooter Test
After a service your scooter should ride like it’s brand new
Mobile Fees
Mobile fees apply to all call outs and vary based on location and distance from Heidelberg, Victoria. Generally they amount to around $20 + $10 per 10 minutes of travel time. We do ONLY provide tyre changes, general services and brake services on the road. All other repairs and custom modifications can only be completed in our Heidelberg workshop. If you can not attend the Heidelberg workshop but require repairs, we can organise a courier service for you.
If you would prefer to travel to our technician rather than have them come to you and save on the cost of mobile fees, appointments can be arranged our Heidelberg store at Shop 3/ 101 Burgundy street.

our company
Mobile EScooter Mechanic is a small business owned and run by lifelong Melbourne local Will Ackroyd.
Will started working on E Scooters in 2021. In 2022 he joined Scooter Hut as Victoria’s head technician in 2022 up until starting Mobile EScooter Mechanic in November 2024. The reason Will started working on scooters (and got interested in them at all) was to accommodate the exercise needs of Casper, the rescue Kelpie, who can be often be found snoozing in the shop when he isn’t out bounding and rolling around.
Will has repaired about 35 scooters per week over the last two years, and specialises in Segway, Kaabo, Inmotion, Xiaomi, and Apollo, although has experience across all brands and models.

We do not operate on Sundays. Public holidays will incur a surcharge.
Please note, we do not have an answering machine service. If you call and do not speak to someone, please make a booking enquiry or send a message.
We are located at Shop 3/ 101 Burgundy street, Heidelberg. Feel free to pop by Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays between 9am-5pm. We are also open on Saturdays between 10am-4pm. We strongly recommend booking ahead online for Saturday appointments as we are often booked out in advance.
Mobile call outs/home visits are currently only operational 9am-5pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
